Chimp's British in-law

"2015 presidency: Obasanjo opts for Lamido" Sun newspaper 5/30/13

Baba become president and his daughter got married to a Briton. No no no no that was not real marriage, it was arranged and the British in-laws were used to siphon nigeria wealth to Britain. Sorry I lied, the Briton married Baba's daughter because she looks like Baba, you know now, White people like chimps and this chimp have a lot of money.

Middle beltans; Self imposed second Northerners

Middle Beltans; Self imposed second Northerners (classism)

The northern political elitists are losing their proxy war for presidential power. The reason the Buharis, Ango Abudulahis, the Abubukas, the Mallams, the Babas dominated power in Nigeria was because they managed either by coercion, caprice or cajole, impressed on the Davids, the Chris, and the Franks of the north's central states that they too are Northerns but without any political stakes, the second class.

One could not help but wonder while the central states of plateau, Benue, Kogi, Taraba, Nasarawa would want to form political alliance with the Babas who neither allow them to freely worship the God of their faith nor build their places of worships in the states in the far north. One would not help but ask, why the Idoma people living close to the South East and with much similarities in name, features, culture, language and phonetic  to the South east, allies politically with Alhajis as against with the Okoros.

MASSOB; secession stupid end for a right agitation

Drop case against MASSOB, Ohanaeze tells FG” (Sun Newspaper, 5/28/13)

MASSOB; secession stupid end for a right agitation

A treasonous charge against Uwazurike is at best a charade, sham, funfair, judiciary recklessness and hyper activity disorder, and selective discrimination by the supreme courts jurors against Ibos. However  I am not perturbed by this charade by these busybody Supreme Court Jurists because at the end of the day Uwazurike will be acquitted for Exercising his fundamental right to free speech and this may be a blessing in disguise for Uwazurike because an acquittal will mean a license for his none violent political movement.

I personally disagree with MASSOB secessionist movement even though I agree with the premise behind its agitation. I think succession from Nigeria should be last thing any reasonable Ibo man or woman would clamor for. I think Ibos have much at stake and so much to lose if Nigeria disintegrates. I personal will resist any succession that would financially, politically and economically disadvantages or pulls Igbo people back.

Per square area Igbo land is densely populated and not enough to contain the population. So as Ibos spread all over the world they increase their territorial habitation if not permanently at least temporarily. It is counter intuitive that Ibos will withdraw from Nigeria only to seek visa and international passport to travel, do business and or leave in Kano, Lagos etc.

But yes, there is obvious discrimination, Igbo marginalization in Nigeria, but succession is like using a hand grenade, bomb to solve a problem that demands a hole. Discrimination and marginalization in Nigeria can be undone without resorting to succession but with consistent and extensive mass agitation, political movement, legal actions, and political alliances with other geo-political zones, groups that seek the same or different political fairness as do Igbos. And this where you come in honorable Ihedioha.  For example we know that Middle Belt, that is the North Central, the David Mark’s Idoma nation in Benue state in particular are agitating for one or two states in the Middle Belt.

So South East with the help of South South, South West, North Central zones can enter into political alliance and rob each other’s back to secure their political aspirations. For example South South, South West, North Central each has 6 states while South East has 5 and North West has 7 states. I do not see how South West and South South will refuse if South East approaches these zones and ask their support for a 7 state solution for each of the 6 political zones in the country. Such request from South East is not only reasonable, and fair but it will benefits South West, South South, North Central and even North East zones with only 6 states each. The only zone that may oppose this request is North West but these other zones do not need North West to secure their demand. Even in the court South East has a strong case of marginalization in this regard and will prevail under the grounds of none discrimination act and or under equal protection under the law, that is universal.

Creation of States and local Governments, congressional representation and federal allocations.

States and local governments should be created base on population of people in an area. However since area population is dynamic and constant state and local government creation is impracticable; congressional districts or representation should be used to balance, compensate and remedy population shifts. As such federal allocation should be apportioned base on congressional districts in a local government or in a state

To achieve a reasonable state, local government creation and congressional district apportionment and federal allocation, a national ID card backed by biometrics is an imperative. Until such a time we secure reliable national ID card, for equity today, each of the existing 6 geo-political zones in the country should have 7 states and equal number of local governments; I am not a fan for the creation of more states or local governments per say, but I also recognize that existing state cannot be scraped for parity among the zones hence a 7 state per zone remedy is what is achievable now for equity and fairness among the 6 zones.

After the credible national ID scheme has be achieved, more local governments may or may not be necessary since federal allocation will then be based on congressional districts (which in turn are based on actual population) in a local government or state. Because population is a dynamic phenomenon, a headcount or census every eight to ten years must be conduct so as to adjust the number of congressional districts per area or per state. The number of congressional districts per states also accords a state its fair share of federal allocation and the number of congressional delegations for the federal house.

Under the current flawed divisionary indigenous acts in most states in Nigeria an Ibo man living in any other part of Nigeria outside Igbo land is counted as citizen or indigene of one of the Igbo states, a stranger to his state of residency. Therefore in states creation and or local governments creation such Ibo man should be assigned to an Igbo states and not to the state where he resides until such a time the regressive indigenous laws in the states are changed. But this was not the case when the present states and local governments were created by the North West military juntas. For instance Kano has more than 40 local governments which took into account none indigenes living in Kano. However these none indigenes are not accorded ‘indigene-ship’ or security. So if there are 3000000 Ibos for example living in Kano and it becomes necessary that these Ibos move back to their states as is the case with Boko Haram attacks in the north, then Kano would lose 30000000 residents but still keeps its 44 local governments while the states where these Ibos relocated to still maintain their twice less the number of local governments of Kano state. This arrangement is not fair and but wrong, with this arrangement Kano state has it both ways and there is sound ground to legally and politically challenge the current geo-political arrangement and partitions in Nigeria

Who is afraid of National ID scheme backed by biometrics? And what were the bases or criteria for the creation of the existing states and local governments by the military dictatorships? No criteria whatsoever, perhaps I should say that the creation of the existing states and local governments were based on arbitrary war time military strategy, expediency, nepotism, tribalism and or political manipulation.

Does anybody honestly believe that each of the three zones in the north is more populated than the Ibo population in Nigeria? Apart from the North West zone I have lived in the remaining 5 zones and none of these zones have either the population density or spread as present in the South East.

If military dictatorship is an aberration so are the political structures and partitions done by the dictatorships. Once again what were the bases for the creation of the present 36 state structure and 774 local governments?

Ombatse Massacre, Government Engineered

Ombatse Massacre, Government Engineered

"Destroy Lakyo shrine, ex-SSS boss [Major-General Abdulahi Mohammed (retd),]  urges FG." (Sun Newspaper 5/27/13)

Please FG do not destroy the Lakyo shrine  The reason  this bigot, Major-General Abdulahi Mohammed want this shrine destroyed is not of his concern for security problems  in the state  but his and Governor Al-Makura’s religious intolerance and extremism. The Islamic religion which these two practice has track record of being hostile to other peoples’ culture, religion and religious symbols. All over the Muslim world, Muslim fundamentalists which comprise most that practices Islam are destroying important cultural heritages, religious symbols and artifacts that are not Islamic. This is one of the reasons governments of predominantly muslems states in the north, stone wall and frustrates the building of churches and other religious structures in their states.

Experience supported by the interview given by Ombatse Chief Priest, Alla Agu compels me to believe that the Governor of Nasarawa Al-Makura orchestrated, staged, and engineered that security lapse and leak that led to the death of over 40 police men in his state.
Think about it; if Ombatse militancy was this violent and evil how so Nigerians didn’t know much about them before Governor Al-Makura arranged to send over hundred police men to arrest one old man?

I condemn in the strongest terms the killing of the security men by the Ombatse militants. However, Mr. Agu said he was never invited by either the Governor or the state’s police chief before security officers attempted to invade his shrine. Yet, not being invited is not justification to attack and kill police officers. However, being a religious and ethnic minority living in the north under constant Boko Haram (hiding under police uniform and military fatigue) murderous attacks, it is not unreasonable to maintain a standing militia.

I have no reason to doubt Mr. Agu when he said that he was never invited by the powers that be in his state to discuss the activities of his members. I do not see why he would turn down the governor’s or police chief’s invitation. I now begin to believe that the Governor or somebody working for his government engineered the tipoff of Ombatse militant using officers from the eggon tribe. I also beginning to believe that the north’s Muslim religious order or establishment has a hand in the Ombatse crisis.

I ask the team investigating the Nasarawa mayhem and massacre to check for the Governor’s Complacence or acts that may have led to the lawlessness in his state.

I am neither Eggon nor a Northern I am a concerned Nigerian and my prayer is that I am wrong in my suspicion of the Nasarawa government's complacence in Eggon Massacre.

Wake up the Ignoramus, everything was original given

Wake up the Ignoramus, everything was original given

"Imo miracle water dries up" sun newspaper 5/26/13.

This reported spring of life from this tree either has a natural scientific explanation or is a sham orchestrated by some mischievous persons doing the church a favor, trying to engineer the trooping of pilgrim and enlarge church attendance.
Wake up people, sickness, life and death are part of live and they are mutually inclusive. Death is the reason there is life and the link between death and life is sickness; these things are inevitable
If Nigerians will channel a fraction of the energy they expend in superstition into education and knowledge sky will not contend the potential that will be unleashed.  With education and knowledge, poverty, joblessness, crime, premature deaths, diseases like AIDS, sickness, ignorance, pettiness, will be gone while life expectance, employment, good life, happiness will rise through the roof.
Our problem is not lack of God but rather our childish dependency on God for every thing, what I will call too much God; a dependency on God who made everything I mean everything available to us. However, our willful blindness and ignorance are hindering us from claiming the gifts God gave in abundance.
Wake up people, faith without work is dead. The work of God he finished and it was perfect; the rest responsibility lies with us and not with the perfect One

"God is Dead:" Niche

"Necessary Evil" By Femi Aribisala, Vanguard Newspaper 5/25/13

"God is Dead:" Niche
I agree with this writer's conclusion but completely disagree with his premise and argument leading to his conclusion.
First, God is a law giver not a law maker and the consequence of this is that prayers are not meant for God but for men; For men to self edify, strengthen, embolden and manage their fear of this big unknown called existence.
In the rude and blunt words of Niche, a  German Philosopher, God is dead, however not literarily but rather that God is presently very aloof to what is happening to the mankind.
But what Niche describe as God's absence I describe as God's satisfaction of his handwork or creation. 'On the sixth day God saw that all he has created are good and perfect. So if God's creations are perfect as I believe they are, do they have need for more amendment or tinkering?  Not at all, hence his absence. 'God is not a respecter of persons he allows it rain both to the evil one even as it rains to the righteous.'
I agree, God is the author of everything, the threesome of good, evil and freewill. And he does not put these creatures to daily test to see how they are fairing because they are perfect from the beginning and mutually inclusive.
Evil is God's concept or idea that establishes the God's other concept, the good; and freewill is the link between good and evil. There could not be good if there is no evil and there would be no evil if there is no freewill.
Thenceforth, following creation we are responsible to what become of us. God does not test us with any measure of evil because he is not God of confusion rather we are individually, collectively and or generationally responsible to what becomes of us whether by our action and or inaction, by our verbal and or none verbal dispositions.
Freewill edict detects that  we are fully responsible and God is neither culpable nor does he inflict us with pain, and tribulation. Our choices or lack thereof under the three fundamental laws of good, evil and freewill are our make and or our demise.
Devil is the embodiment of evil, a God's concept readily manifest in any thing, things, being or beingd that partakes from the gift of freewill if this being individually, collectively and or generationally and freely opens up self for evil. There is no such a thing as a measure of evil from God because again he is not God of confusion.

Governor Amaechi has won to lose

Governor won to lose

PDP is like a family and the President like a father is the head of the PDP family. No number of votes by the sons, daughters, wives and or conspiracy can take away the father's headship. For Party cohesion, unity, and success Governor Amaechi ought to respect and concede to the President's headship status in all Party matters provided the president's position are neither, corrupt, immoral, antiparty nor contemptuous.

The Opposition Parties’ political romantic approach to Governor Amaechi is not out of reverence for him but a ploy to divide, conquer and destroy PDP. And no sane family head will seat-by and allow his or her prodigal member to ruin a family he or she is charged to protect.

Amaechi should not allow ego to get in the way. It is foolhardy to wage a war that the wager knows that his or her self-demise (politically) is the obvious outcome of the war. By the time Governor Amaechi stops challenging the presidency he will see that the Opposition has no use for him anymore.

Folks understand that this is not about the choice of the chairman of NGF it is rather that "Jonathan and Amaechi had been locked in a feud allegedly related to the 2015 presidential election." No one serves too Masters or Parties at the same time. If Governor Amaechi was of another Party his purported win should have been final and conclusive but unfortunately there is no internal or intraparty democracy in a democracy.

I have nothing against Governor Ameachi nor am I a PDP member or fan just stating facts as they are not as they ought be.

Amaechi wins to lose

Amaechi wins to lose

"NGF: Pro-Jonathan govs split Forum, name Jang chairman" (Vanguard newspaper 5/25/13)
Frankly, I love democracy and democratically elective positions but it is immorally and atypical for sons, daughters and wife to deny the father his headship just because they, sons, daughters and wife have the democratic numerical strength. PDP is like a family and the president is the head and must receive members' support as long as his desires and policies are not immoral, corrupt, contentious, and contemptuous.

In as much as I like Governor Amaechi it is very wrong for him to ally with the opposition to oppose the leaders of his own party. The opposition's political romantic approach to Amaechi is not out of reverence for him but a ploy to destroy, divide and conquer PDP. I am not a PDP member or fan but I hate turncoats they are the reason trust, confidentiality, cohesion, has given way to selfishness and greed.

Alamieyeseigha, even rapist, serial killers, pedophiles have excuses and argument for their evil deeds

"What Nigerians don’t know about my pardon —Alamieyeseigha" (Sun Newspaper 5/24/13)
Yes Alamieyeseigha, Nigerians do not know how on earth a president who took an oath to protect Nigeria from both physical and economic harm would give unconditional pardon to a greedy primitive international crook, the president's kinsman Alamieyeseigha, who stole his people's money to deposit in a British bank at the expense of Bayelsa state and Nigeria nation. Mr. Alamieyeseigha you said there was a deal with the Yar’Adua’s government to pardon you, but pardon you from what? You never accepted culpability, neither apologized, nor shown remorse for stealing from your people. That you helped negotiate Niger Delta ceasefire is not verifiable and even if true, it still did not make you less of a criminal. The punishment for criminal behavior like yours is not to negotiate for the government. Besides, apart from your political protégées, godfathers, mentors and kinsmen no other person, persons or body can collaborates this deal between you and Yar'Adua.

Con Alamieyeseigha don't you see that jumping bail in Britain to Nigeria for stealing in Nigeria says a lot about you and about Nigeria. You knew from day one that there is no justice and rule of law in Nigeria and this your factual belief was what gave you the audacity to take refuge in Nigeria from justice in London even when Nigerians are the primary victims of your greed, your primitiveness, your ignorance, and of course your criminality. I am searching for a space in my heart to forgive Jonathan because of the Northern political elites’ 38 years of gross leadership incompetence, disappointment and misrule. Otherwise I would have worked to the last drop of sweat to elect Buhari and campaign that he brings you to justice on the other charges or extradite you to England to face real justice.

Shame on you Alamiefeseigha, you belong to the past; you’re a three hundred year old biological construct mysteriously and unfortunately living in the present.

Self imposed second classism

The northern political elitists are losing their proxy war for presidential power. The reason the Buharis, Ango Abudulahis, the Abubukas, the Mallams, the Babas dominate power in Nigeria is because they have managed either by coercion, caprice or cajole impressed on the Davids, the Chris, and the Franks of the Central States that they too are Northerns but without any political stakes, the second class.

Would Malam maitama sule, Alhaji Ango abdullahi, Alhaji Alhaji support a Mr Francis Bali from Plateau State or a Mr. Mark from Benue State as a north's consensus candidate in 2015?

"Northern elders’ battle line on 2015"

"In what appears to be a response to the threat by ex-Niger Delta militant leader,  Alhaji Muhajid Asari-Dokubo, that there will be no peace in Nigeria if President Goodluck Jonathan is not returned to power in 2015, the Northern Elders Forum (NEF) recently announced its resolve that the presidency must return to the North in 2015. At the end of a meeting with Borno State elders at which its chairman, Mallam Maitama Sule, was represented by the former vice chancellor of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, Prof. Ango Abdullahi, the forum warned governors in the zone to cue behind the power-for-North struggle, or see themselves as anti-North." (sun newspaper 5/19/13).

Would Malam maitama sule, and Alhaji Ango abdullahi, Alhaji Alhaji support a Mr. Francis Bali from Plateau State or a Mr.Mark from Benue State as a northern consensus in 2015?

If the Maitamas  the Ango Abdullahis will field a northern Christian Minority as their presidential candidate for the 2015 election then they would have truly demonstrated that when the say north they do not mean the Muslim majority. The northern minority ought to find out if the Muslim majority invokes northern candidate just to gain the support of the minority, when the Majority would never field a minority for the presidential ticket. To find out is very easy and that is let the majority field and support a northern minority come 2015, I guarantee a northern minority candidate will receive more vote in the south than the Muslim majority candidate of northern extraction

Hurray! three states structure; Mr Okunnu, political Pervert.

"New states will kill the federation" – Olufemi Okunnu. lol, sadly. (Vanguard Newspaper  5/19/13)

Hurray! three states structure;  Mr Okunnu, political Pervert

Then let's us have three or lesser number of states if the function is the lesser the number of states the more the 'survivability' of the Nigeria State. This is a poor argument that must have came from either poor or politically perverted mind. What kills a nation is not political partitions but political perversion where certain citizens are treated differently and or unfairly; where the government is corrupt and anarchist in nature. U.S has 50 States, Italy has over hundred provinces which is equivalent to states.

Creation of States and local Governments, congressional representation and federal allocations.

The 3 terminal diseases graving Nigeria

The 3 terminal diseases graving Nigeria
Boko Haram is societal pest and drag to progress and societal development yet the greatest danger and threat to Nigeria’s corporate existence are public corruption, the elites’ flagrant disregard of the law and tribal dissonance.
Fact; if these three social vices are eradicated from the fabrics of the Nigerian state, today’s Boko Haram could only have existed in the minds of movie writers. Like MASSOB, OPC, MEND, Ombatse, and Kidnapping gangs, Boko Haram is but a sign of a society that is sick and need cure.  To progress, Nigeria need cure from the three vices enumerated above.

Wake UP People!!

Wake UP People!!

"NEWS REVIEW: The emergence of another ‘axis of evil’" (Sun newspaper 5/13/13)

He who has the guns has the power and he who has the most guns has the most power. Guns were the only tool and successful tool indeed, of colonialism. Something sinister is brewing in the Nigeria horizon and I pray that God saves us from this impending doom. However, prayer is a faith thing and faith without work is dead. Pray but also prepare to defend yourself by all means necessary because a man who fate compels to go through a battle field must not only pray but must also arm himself otherwise he would be committing suicide which is a sin.

Niger Delta >MEND, OPC >Yoruba, Boko Haram >Moslem North, Ombatse > Northern Minority are without doubt armed elements for both offense and defense of themselves and their people. The question is, how about you, how about you people; will you and your people be able to offend and defend?  Don’t be a fool; wakeup, the dial may have been casted. You and your group should not be naive like the Nigeria security agencies that lack insight and foresight and only reactionary. It is better to prepare for an event that never was than to be taken unawares by event. One word is too many for the wise.

Sun, please post this comment it may save a people.

Buhari

Buhari

"Former head of state [Buhari] described the 14 years of PDP rule in Nigeria as a period when corruption and insecurity loomed large on the horizon, breeding poverty and decay across the country." (Vanguard news 5/11/13)

The three biggest threats to Nigeria sovereignty are corruption, tribalism and anarchism (lack of rule of law); these three vices have veto authority in their ability to destroy a nation.

My fear about Buhari’s presidential ambition is his religious extremism and deep rooted tribal sentiments. Case in point is when Buhari led a team of red eyed Fulani strong men to confront a western state governor of a rumors that sizable number of Fulanis was killed by Yorubas but as it turned out and as anyone would imagine more Yorubas died in that conflict with Fulanis where one or two Fulanis lost their lives. It was reported that it was the wisdom of this Yoruba governor that saved the day.

In purely Islamic state, Islamic theocracy and ethnically homogenous state, Buhari would make a good leader. But Nigeria with over 300 ethnic nationalities cannot afford a severely tribal hawk and religious zealot like ‘theocratist’ Muhammad Buhari.

Nonetheless I still prefer Buhari to the ‘gap toothed’ crook, the Moslem half secularist and half ‘theocratist’ Con Ibrahim B Baba. But what Nigeria need most is disciplinarian, a conformist; a democratic benevolent dictatorship; the kind of leaderships in South East Asia nations of Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and Singapore. A democratic benevolent dictatorship is possible only if the leaders are above reproach.

As for the current administration I sympathizes  it because even with Northern elite’s political witch hunt and Boko Haram’s resolve to make Nigeria ungovernable, Jonathan has within a short year span performed better than the last six administrations that led the nation for the last 34 years. Yes, Jonathan has neither led optimally nor is he anywhere close to optimally leadership. However, truth is that even within an overwhelming odd presented by Boko Haram and Northern elites’ political witch hunt Jonathan has done better than the last six administrations combined.

Northern political elites should allow Mr. Goodluck whose territory’s natural resources is feeding the nation and the reason we still have Nigeria, to complete a second term. 38 out of 53 years since independence the northern political/military elites have ruled this country and have a lot of nothing to show for it. If for 38 years of leadership the northern political elites could not move Nigeria forward as it is self evident but instead pulled the country to socio- economic political abyss, how would the 8 years of leadership they now rabidly seek for be different from the 38 years of misrule, corruption, cronyism, despotism, tribalism, sexism, maradonism, hedonism, mediocrity and leadership incompetence? Not only did Northern elites failed Nigeria, they in the midst of their blissful hedonism supported by stolen public fund abandoned the northern masses hence the unexplainable abjectness within their wards.

No current politician, northern or southern can meaningfully move Nigeria or Nigerians forward because the current crop of  politicians are corrupt, tribal, cronies and primitive men pretending to live in the present. What Nigeria need is a new breed (youths) of Northern and Southern extractions working together to dismantle tribal politics and move Nigeria and its people quickly through 19th century and then to present.

Today Nigeria is more or less reduced to a multination state paraded as sovereignty by those who pretend to be Nigerians even when their loyalty is first to religion, second to ethnicity and third to political party by which means they arrest power for their selfish goal to the detriment of national cohesion and general progress of the nation. Today Nigeria is more fractious than it was in the 60s and this is evident that the country is drifting away. What has the national assemblies and successive administrations done to bridge the divide between the Nigerian people? Nothing, they have even encouraged division among Nigerians. Because harmony among the citizenry is not good politics where divide and conquer or tribal politics is the order of the day.

Our politicians have been boasting opening on our coping of America political philosophy and policies and these politicians have referenced this imitation all the time. But as long as Northern and Southern, Moslems or Christians refuse to truly see one another as brothers; do not in the heart of heart see each as brothers as fellow citizens whose fundamental civil and human rights must be respected, protected and safeguarded regardless of residency or place of birth, not only will the Americanization of Nigeria elude us but a strong, powerful progressive Nigeria will continue to be a pipe dream.

Think about it, the greatest obstacle to Nigeria development is the deep rooted tribal sentiment and divisions among the various ethnic groups. In fact tribalism, dislike, and mistrust between groups was the reason we nearly lost this nation in the 60s tribal conflicts.  For Nigeria to achieve any meaningfully progress there must be love, harmony among the constituent nationalities and the National assemble has the most role to play in this regard.

2nd Amendment?

2nd Amendment?
In the united states of American the right of citizens to bear arm was authorized in the 2nd amendment of the U.S constitution.  This amendment gives law abiding citizens or group of citizens otherwise called regulated militia army the right to owns arms, among many reasons to defend and protect themselves and properties from a despotic government and from criminal outlaws that seek to do them harm or forcible deposed them of their properties in the presence of a weak, ineffective or aloof government.
Boko Haram and the spate of armed robbery, kidnapping, general insecurity and governments inability to protect lives and properties in Nigeria is now an existential threat to the nation and to the people hence Nigeria’s 2nd amendment or a modified form of it is not only a necessary safety measure but also moral imperative.
Yes, in every human action there is always going be a reaction but as intelligent people we must weigh the action and reaction and decide how to proceed. Arming the citizenry may sound crazy but what other alternative do we have.  The army and the police are not enough and would never  be enough to be everywhere.
The thought that a man or neighbor in the next room, house, street or town only watched haplessly as his family, friends, wife, sons, daughters, mother, father, neighbors next are being hatched to death, shot, raped, beheaded, slight by the throat and all he could is watch, shout, call police, pray, beg, wish, and or cry helpless is worse than death itself. Only few people would survive such horrendous humiliation that is worse than death. It therefore means that this man, group, village, town must be allowed to defend and protect themselves from possible traumatizing event by stopping it from happening in the first place or die trying. Many would prefer to die than to helpless watched while the innocent is butchered for doing nothing but for just being a vulnerable law abiding citizen.
It is 2nd amendment until the governments can verifiable show that the threat of Boko Haram, Armed robbery and kidnapping has been eliminated or occurs reasonably seldom.

Reacting to Asari Dokubo's and Shinkafi's comment

Reacting to Asari Dokubo's and Shinkafi's comment

Facts: In less than 4 years Jonathan has performed more than Obasanjo, Shagari, Buhari, Barawo IBB, Pork Abacha, and Abubakar combined 36 years of Misrule, corruption, lawlessness, cronyism, nepotism loot and incompetence.
Yes, Jonathan have to do more but anybody accusing Jonathan of none performance relative to the past 36 years either is not a Nigerian or  a Martian or a tribal bastard and has no interest of Nigeria at heart.

Four years is not enough to reverse 36 years of mismanagement, infrastructure, and socio- economic and political collapse of a country. I pray that Asiri is wrong and will not deliver on his threat, but the reality is that there is 80% chance that Niger Delta militancy will resurface if Deltans feel that Jonathan was forced out of office either by Boko Haram and or North -West political alliance because these two would have seemed to reinforce each other with the same goal of making sure that Jonathan was not reelected.

Democracy, yes, but democratic process must be reasonable and sensitive to the felling of the people and society. I do not understand why the North could not wait for another 4 to 12 years if they have ruled this country 38 out of 53 years of nationhood and have a lot of Nothing to show for it.

As for shinkafi, his comment is stupidly dangerous because it is a direct threat to the presidency unlike Asari's, in as much as I detaste it, Asari's comment is futuristic, conditional, militant and political in nature.
