I agree with this conclusion but not with the premise. Romney will win not because of the billionaires support but because of the majority of racist smeared, incoherent, dysfunctional, manna seeking American electorate that votes against their own economic interest. This group of electorates operates with the mind set of ‘bandwagonism,’ us versus them and votes Republican, against their own economic interest. These racist voters and many of them poor have this delusional belief as being more American than others.

- Given your little rant & your willingness to label millions & millions of people racists - perhaps it's not the millions & millions who are racist?

o Will, go back to history, whatever the number is today, may be millions as you suggested but we had more racist 100 years ago than we I had 60 years perhaps 70% of the pupolation and more racist 60 years ago than we have today. I undersatand you may not agree that racists ever exist. However I disagree with you.

o That is not what I said at all Carolyn. I'm well aware there are racists in this country, but your implication that many voters are racist is just foolish. There are racists who will vote for Barack Obama & there are racists who will vote against Barack Obama. We have racists in Barack Obama's administration & they use racism to drum up votes.
Your racism rant is nothing more than projection or an immature attempt to malign others simply because they disagree with Barack Obama & what he stands for.
The millions voting against him this time will include countless numbers who voted for him the first time.

Will, well said and articulated. But I must correct you for suggesting that I am intolerant of dissent. Your suggestion can not be further from the truth. I love logical and civil dissent. But I vehemently disagree with the likes of Ted Nugget and his racist rage. Will, did you speak out against that crack head when he declare before multitude of nodding heads that he did be dead or in Jail if Obama is reelected. Will, I can give or cite thousands and thousands of Ted Nugget’s like, moments, comments, speeches, commentaries, broadcasts and rallies. Will, I do not know you but if you have never been at the receiving end of racist act and or in-act you can never understand racism. If you’re in the privileged majority, Things, words that may seem innocuous to you may be distasteful to one who sees racism daily. Racism today is very extensive but subtle, and unrecognizable to none intended targets.
Fine Will, you do agree that racists exits but it seem the disagreement here is the number or percentage of these racists in our society. Personally I do not know the number, but what I do know is that they are many if not the majority. Here is how I reach this conclusion. Racism is the offspring of ignorance, and or harsh economic conditions that lead to conflicts and struggles for limited recourses. Ignorance and harsh economic conditions are realities and extensive today, unlike any other time in the recent past. So Will, these are the reasons increasingly many more are exhibiting primordial instinct.
I disagree with you that some racists voted for Obama in 2008. If they did then they did intend to set him up for a fall, not just Obama fall but the collective fall of a group.

What exactly was the "racist" part of Ted Nugent's comments? I listened to the entire interview & there was nothing racist about it at all. His comments about being dead or in jail were not a threat at all.
The "racists," (since your so insistent on that line of thinking), voting for him are those that voted solely because he is bi-racial. Many can deny that simple truth - but it is truth nonetheless.
One does not have to be a "victim" of racism to fully understand what it means & the damage it has caused in this country. This "privileged majority" line is also just another way of separating people. FTR, I grew up poor & was definitely not privileged. Since we live in such a fine nation, everyone has the ability to rise to the level of their effort. Anything else is just an excuse & too many are too willing to use it.
BTW, I've had the "racist" card pulled on me by a young man in the military. He was a younger & insolent young man who thought he could get his way by using the tactic. He learned quickly that insubordination, (by way of his threat), does not go over well.

Once again, you may not see that Nugget’s belligerence and utterances past and present as despicable, barbaric, uncivil and ignorant. And it seems you do not resent such speeches but yet you reacted swiftly to my comment. What is your opinion and take on Birther Movement and the “Take back Our Country” Tea Baggers’ mantra? Now let me connect it for you, Will; He, Obama is not one of us, he is Kenyan who tricked his way into the presidency now let’s take back our country. Will, I guarantee you do not see these this way. Why, because you neither know racism nor the coded or subtle language of the racists.
Will, you said we live in a fine country, sure I agree with you but yet we do not live in a perfect society and no people do.; but this perfection is what we must pursue endlessly. We must neither be complacence nor comfortable with our little individual but selfish comfort.
You said “everyone has the ability to rise to the level of their effort. Anything else is just an excuse & too many are too willing to use it.” You’re about 10% correct; success, economical, political etc, in our society has more to do with, opportunity, connections, race and color than with individual abilities. You disagree, don’t you, Will? Now let me use Mint, Etch Sketch Willard Romney to illustrate what I mean. Mitt has declared in several occasions that his is self made person. This claim can only be completely true if Romney did not attend Ivy League, if his father was not a former governor, if he was not from the privileged majority, if Romney among many Ivy League graduates did not through family, family connections, and race had the opportunity at Bain Capital. Again you may not see things this way because you know not racism.
