Atiku; only in Nigeria

Atiku; only in Nigeria
Only in Nigeria would a crook like Atiku be walking freely in the street. His American partner in crime Congressman Jefferson is still serving his long prison term in America prison for receiving $100,000 bribe from American oil firm that he arranged to bribe Atiku with $3M for oil deal in Nigeria. One of the Atiku's concubines then living in U.S. and connected to this crime of bribery abandoned her U.S money- laundry -mansion when FBI closed on her. Today this woman is still a fugitive in U.S. Atiku himself a prime suspect have a case to answer in U.S but in Nigeria today his is a king maker.  Only Nigeria do crooks and criminals roam the street freely and making kings. Since Nigeria journalist are either unprofessional or cowards here some of the questions they ought to have asked Atiku;
Mr. Vice President, do you know one Mr. Jefferson? How and when did you meet Mr. Jefferson for the 1st time? Was Mr. Jefferson a friend of yours and or a business acquaintance? Is Mr. Jefferson still you friend? When was the last time you spoke to him? Do you know that his is serving a prison term? Since he was or is your friend have you spoken to Jefferson while in prison? Do know why he went to prison? Are you aware that his sentencing has something to do you, something involving you Mr. Vice president? Since Jefferson went to prison have you visited U.S.? Why have you not? Is a female friend of yours or wife or concubine that once lived in U.S a fugitive in U.S. today? Why is she a fugitive?
Those are few of the million questions responsible press ought to ask a once Vice President of a country wanted for a crime in a foreign land. By not asking the right questions Nigeria press is not only failing in its responsibility but grossly disappointing Nigerians on whose investigative journalism, the citizenry should depend on for accountability, check and balances in the society.
